A project we’re incredibly proud to hand over in Newport 🏡✨

This single-storey extension has completely transformed our client’s home, creating a bright, modern living space finished to a high standard throughout.

Quick revamp in Newport

Frontage ripped out, big chunky raised sleeper boarder installed with a laurel hedge to create some privacy

Rear garden vegetation stripped off, fresh top soil in and 420 rolls of turf rolled out

20mm golden gravel down which has created much more usable driveway space for numerous cars.

Onto the next one….

Big shout to Gittins Grab Services for making this whole job possible. Without utilising the grab wagon and dumper this job would have taken much longer due to limited space to tip

Good progress being made on our Newport extension. Always a good feeling getting a project watertight and the weather has definitely helped.

Groundwork’s 99% done, retaining wall to finish with the addition of some curved step’s allowing access up onto the grass.

Guttering, render and some outside touches will really finish this project off

Plastering now complete meaning the lads can crack on fitting the kitchen this week.

Few more weeks and we should be out of here, completion pictures pending….

🏡 We’re after a General Builder 🏡

Shropshire / West Midlands

Rosehill Contractors Ltd are a growing construction company carrying out a wide range of domestic and commercial works including:

* Groundworks
* New builds
* Extensions
* Drainage
* Concrete works
* Brickwork
* Patios & driveways
* External works and landscaping

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable General Builder to join the team.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong all-round construction knowledge who is confident working on the tools daily while helping lead projects and organise labour on site

You will be expected to:

* Work on the tools daily alongside the team
* Carry out a wide range of general building and groundwork tasks
* Help organise labour and day-to-day site activities
* Assist with setting out and reading drawings
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety
* Liaise with management regarding progress and materials
* Take ownership of projects and help keep works running efficiently

Projects are mainly domestic and small commercial works across Shropshire and surrounding areas.

Requirements

* Minimum 10 years construction experience
* Strong all-round building knowledge and able to read from detailed plans
* Experience in groundworks, drainage, concrete and brickwork
* Ability to work independently and lead by example
* Good work ethic and reliability
* Full UK driving licence
* 25 + over due to van insurance

Latest project over the line for Summit Platforms at their East Midlands depot

First phase was to floor saw and rip out existing dished kerbs and replace with heavy duty aco channels.

Second phase was the installation of a new silt trap with accessible lids and a Klargester separator in the wash bay area with a high alert alarm when it needs emptying.

New dished curbs also installed, all falling to the silt trap and therefore into the tank

New manhole cover lid installed as previous one had broken down and was causing issues with drainage.

All in all a busy 3 weeks

Work on behalf of in Stoke

Demolition of a 72m long dwarf reinforced wall with feather edge boarding and barbed wire up top

New footings dug, reinforcement steel mesh cages installed along with L bars and flooded with the good old grey stuff

🏏 Wheaton Aston Cricket Club 🏏

We were lucky enough to get the contract to remodel the outdoor space for this cricket club.

The old decking and slabbing was removed, a perimeter double skin wall installed and a new 130sqm kandla grey porcelain patio laid

An access ramp and a set of steps were created and the perimeter wall is awaiting some balustrade to comply with building regs.

Happy with how this has turned out considering the weather we have been up against
