Milestone Monday – Week 12 | Shenley Wood, Site B, Milton Keynes

Our team is making fantastic progress on site this week and preparing for the next phase of delivery!

🏗️ Foundations – 80% complete on Unit 2
🌍 Earthworks – 90% complete across the site for Units 1 and 2
🔩 Steel frame – due to start week commencing 3rd November

This exciting project sees the design and construction of two sustainable industrial warehouse units in Milton Keynes, providing a total of 144,222 sqft of high-quality space within a 39-week build programme.

We are proud to be working collaboratively with our client, Hampton Brook, and the professional team bring this development to life.

We have marked a major milestone in our sustainability journey by delivering our greenest development to date, whilst also reporting exceptional progress in reducing carbon emissions.

Since our establishment, we have embedded sustainability at the heart of our operations, becoming Planet Mark certified from inception and implementing and improving on our ESG Policy each year.

For 2024 – 2025 we achieved a substantial -89.5% reduction in carbon emissions and have been shortlisted as a Finalist in the Carbon Reduction Per Employee Category at the 2025 Planet Mark Awards.

Our ESG vision is clearly demonstrated through our recently completed and live projects:
🌱 At Ferne Park in Fareham, we turned an under-utilised office building site into a flagship green development. The scheme is BREEAM Outstanding (92.1%), Fitwel certified, and EPC A+
🌱 Prior to the completion of Ferne Park, we delivered our first Net Zero carbon scheme at Space City (Pioneer Park), Leicester for Brackley Property Developments (BPD), also known as Leicester’s first Net Zero Carbon development
🌱 We are on site delivering two units at Shenley Wood, Site B, in Milton Keynes which will be carbon negative in operation

| Week 15 | Plot 302B, Waterworth Road, Peterborough

Momentum is building as we move into a busy week on site, delivering an 80,000 sqft warehouse and showroom unit for our valued client PA Properties. The facility will provide dark storage for Smart Garden Products Ltd, supporting their continued growth in the garden products sector. 🌿

Here’s what is happening this week:
✅ Steel frame completion targeted by Friday
✅ Cladding installation kicks off today
✅ Ground floor, first and second floor concrete preparation underway – ready for the first pour
✅ Tarmac works scheduled for the end of the week

👏 Big shoutout to the team making it happen – it is shaping up to be a big week on site with key milestones being achieved!

| Week 13 | Unit 1 / 1a Dunstable

Progress is moving fast on site in Dunstable as we are now out of the ground and begin steel er****on on our latest project for valued and repeat business client, Legal and General!

✅All foundations are complete
✅Steelwork officially commenced today
✅Precast wing walls are installed
✅Drainage works are nearing completion
✅External yard slabs have begun

Great work by the team and our supply chain partners for reaching this major milestone and pushing progress forward each week. Watch this space as we continue to transform the site into a new, BREEAM Excellent, 44,000sqft warehouse.

As part of our Employment and Skills Plan with Portsmouth City Council, we’ve been delivering social value benefits for the local area. Last week, it was great to welcome students from HSDC to Unit B, Railway Triangle, to share real-world insights into a live construction site and the variety of careers the construction industry has to offer.

Massive thanks to our project team for taking the time to share their knowledge to inspire the next generation and to the College for collaborating with us to make it happen. We’re looking forward to continuing to work with students in the future through work experience opportunities that we have offered throughout the summer — helping young people see what’s possible in construction.

HSDC Course Lead for T Level Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction commented that it was an excellent visit which was very well organised and welcoming, and the students found the site tour very engaging, informative, and enjoyable.

Milestone Monday | Week 27 | Drovers Retail Park, Kent

Progress is powering ahead on site at Drovers Retail Park in Kent. We’re making huge progress with works for the design and build of two new retail units, with:

✅ Structural steelwork 90% complete
✅ Cladding nearing the finish line at 80%
✅ Gabion walls now being installed
✅ FortiCrete stonework underway

Looking ahead over the next couple of weeks:

✅ Internal slab pour for Unit 5
✅ Car park surfacing with tarmac
✅ Start of 278 works

The site is transforming fast – with strong coordination across all trades driving progress forward. Keep up the great work !

We’re proud to have secured a new project with valued, repeat client, Legal & General; our third collaboration to date.

The appointment reflects the strength of our ongoing relationship with Legal & General and the continued trust they place in our team to deliver a high-quality build—on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.

We are working in collaboration with Legal & General and the professional team, CANMOOR, Quartz Project Services, hale Architecture and I&L Consulting Limited.

We are excited to begin construction, marking the start of this third high-quality scheme for Legal & General.

A group of Year 11 students who are looking to study in the construction sector next year were invited by Wilten Construction to see the new Gateway 14 site in Stowmarket.

Students gained an insight into all aspects of construction, including groundworks, design and planning, surveying, estimating and project managing. We discussed the environmental impact of such a large project and the sustainable ways in which they are providing utilities.

were delighted to host WPL on site last week at Drovers Retail Park, Ashford to celebrate the commencement of the Design and Build of 2 retail units totalling 47,200 sqft.

We are working in collaboration with T.J Morris and the professional team, WPL Consulting and Airey & Coles, to successfully deliver this scheme.
