Extension....

It's not all roof work.

Here we have an extension we done last year from the ground works to the blockwork and yes the roof but this time a flat roof.

Most people are against flat roofs for the same reasons they don't last they always leak bla bla bla but with some of the products on the markets these days flat roofs are no problem at all. This product Rubberbond comes with a standard 20year guarantee and is proven to last.

Markinch Church had us back again for slate repairs.

With the church being one of the oldest in Scotland it requires lots of maintenance work to keep on top of it. The slates are very old and are not in the best condition making repairs frustrating at times especially with the size and height of the roof.

Another ridge replacement and some 40 tiles thanks to storm Eowyn...

This time it was an insurance job in Markinch.

Again the old cement ridge had seen better days so we quoted to fully replace with a dry ridge system.

Ridge repair in Kirkcaldy.

Due to being unable to source the existing ridge tiles we had no option but to strip of this ridge and renew with a dry ridge system.

Dry ridge systems have a few benefits from being totally maintenance free to allowing air to flow and your attic space to breath all while obviously keeping your roof water tight.
