Day of dust, yesterday… 2 chimney stacks stripped down to the level of the thatch.
Ready for rebuilds. Using a reclaimed brick to match the three double stacks. We completed a couple of months ago. 😷😁

Prepared by hand. Using a bill hook.
There are new machine made ash runners. But there not traditional and in my opinion. Not as natural looking as the hazel ones 👍😁

making it possible to refelt & batten.

Also we fitted,
New soffit and fascia. All ready for the slates.
