Body shell mods for the side exit exhausts

As the engine is nearing completion (still waiting on valve covers and eagle brace from machine shop)
Which is why I purchased my own CNC machine ... More on that later.

To get the positioning correct, requires the floor and side pods to be fitted. Followed by the engine, which is located on the lower dry sump stud mounts to make sure all is aligned correctly.

With the engine rolled out of the way, you can see the completed rear bulkhead with water, oil and fuel services all waiting for final connection.

Once the engine and chassis are aligned, and bolted together, measurements were taken to ensure the exhaust and waste pipes cleared the internal side pod structures and exited cleanly. The final exit will be lined with stainless steel ring inside and out. Next job is the support bracket between the two exhaust and wastegate pipes before they receive the Thermo Met shielding treatment. Many thanks IWS Developments Ltd for their assistance.
