𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘆

Back in June, we brought together some of our valued Sumo dealers and farmers from across the UK for a fantastic day of simulated clay shooting at the stunning Warter Priory Estate.

Four drives, plenty of friendly competition, a delicious BBQ, great conversations and, luckily, perfect weather and incredible views ☀️

It was a brilliant opportunity to step away from the usual day-to-day and spend time with some of the people who make the Sumo network what it is.

Mixidisc Demo – Sennen, Cornwall 🌱

A great few days last week down in Sennen, Cornwall with our new Sumo dealer, Truro Tractors.

The farm originally wanted to try a 4m Sumo Mixidisc, but with our 5m trailed machine available, we brought that down instead - it actually proved a really useful comparison.

Working at around 3–4 inches deep, we were able to put the Mixidisc through a variety of different ground conditions across the farm, giving a really good indication of how versatile the machine can be.

One of the biggest takeaways was seeing how well the larger trailed machine worked behind a relatively small tractor. The 5m Mixidisc was being pulled by just 160hp, with the trailed configuration helping the tractor maintain traction while allowing the machine to work consistently across the full width.

The combination of the discs, paddle levelling board and Sumo Multipacka produced a seriously impressive finish. Across the different ground conditions, we were seeing a level surface, well-mixed and crumbled soil, followed by that smooth, consolidated finish from the Multipacka at the rear.

A great demonstration of what the Mixidisc can achieve - 5 metres wide, 3–4 inches deep, a variety of conditions and just 160hp up front👌

Big thanks to Truro Tractors and the farm at Sennen for the opportunity to get the machine out working.

The machine is now settling into its new home for the future 💪🌱

🌱 Cultivation Demo Day is back!

Following the success of our first collaboration last year, we’re delighted to be joining forces with Hutchinsons and Wilfred Scruton Ltd once again for another Cultivation Demo Day on 3rd September.

With conditions being so dry, it’s a great opportunity to take a closer look at cultivation techniques, working depth, improving soil health and importantly, how to achieve the results you need without burning unnecessary fuel 🚜

Expect live machinery demonstrations, practical insights and plenty of opportunity to see different cultivation approaches working in real field conditions.
