We hold an ESSCA (Equine Stem Cell Centre Authorisation) license for providing cell therapies to veterinary clinics. Since we first got the licence in 2018, the government has changed this license to cover dogs and cats too! So although we still hold an ESCCA, we can offer our services to vets for dogs and cats too.

CHO cells are derived from the o***y cells of a breed of hamster called Chinese hamster. They are the most commonly used mammalian hosts for industrial production- they grow easily in large-scale cultures and have high viability. They are ideal for GMP production (which is what we are!).
