We are currently looking for 2 Part-Time Customer Service Coordinators to join our team in Melton on a Fixed Term Maternity cover contract until February 2023.

THE ROLE: This is a busy and varied role and the successful candidates will be acting as the interface between Operations and the customer and will be involved in coordinating the day-to-day relationships of a specific group of customers, along with internal and external stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
• Processing and confirmation / acknowledgement of customer orders
• Daily monitoring of manufacturing orders identifying orders which are “running behind schedule”
• Liaising with customers and reporting of any delays
• Management of customer delivery schedules
• Account administration e.g. invoicing and credit note processes.
• Customer Services Coordinator will communicate effectively with all levels of staff to ensure that the team meets its objectives.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential Criteria
• Formal training / qualification or experience in a customer service / customer care role
• High level of IT literacy using a variety of computer packages, including ERP/MRP & Office 365
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
Desirable criteria
• A working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous but not essential

WORKING HOURS: The company operate a 24/7 shift pattern which involves working every other weekend with time off during the week, 12 hour shift duration working 07:00-19:00hrs and 19:00hrs – 07.00hrs working on average around 16 shifts per month

We currently have vacancies for Process Operatives with preferably some experience working within a factory environment, who are computer literate and work with a high level of focus on procedures, quality and efficiency is required for a well-established Global International Company based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

The Melton site have taken on over 20 new employees this year in a variety of positions and we are looking forward to welcoming more Manufacturing Operatives/ Factory Process Operators to fulfil our growing customers requirements.

We design and manufacture durable, high-performance and sustainable compounds which are used in healthcare, communications, energy, building & construction and consumer products.

Ideally you will have some experience working within a factory environment, be computer literate and be able to work with a high level of focus on health and safety, quality and following procedures.

As the Process Operator you will be making large volumes of compounds by following recipes, measuring out the raw materials into large hoppers and then once mixed, bagging the finished goods, which are plastic pellets, ready for the logistics team to ship directly to customers.

We have two vacancies for Junior Laboratory Technician's to assist the compound development team with material development and production support tasks is required for a well-established Global International Manufacturing Company based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

This role would be suited to either a sixth form college leaver or candidates looking for a change of direction or an entry level role in a laboratory environment.

Experience is not essential as on the job training will be provided. However, it is expected that the successful candidate will have the necessary attitude/capability to conduct themselves in a laboratory environment. Training needs will be assessed throughout the employment with a view to identifying specific requirements.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Laboratory Technician include:

•Typical polymeric testing of products in the laboratory to specifications

•Assisting the compound development team with material development and production support tasks

•Providing test results reports

•Assisting with the control & purchasing of laboratory provisions

•Assisting with the maintenance of the library of test specifications

•Assisting with the management of service & calibration of test equipment

•Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks

DESIRABLE CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

•Ideally experienced in testing polymeric materials but not essential

•Formal qualification in a Science or Materials/Polymer Technology (‘A’ level equivalent or higher preferred)

•Self-motivated, a team-player and enthusiastic

•Must be well organised

•Good writing skills a pre-requisite, must be computer literate e.g. familiar with Microsoft Office programs

•A working knowledge of ISO9000 Quality Systems would be advantageous
