Energy Efficient Extension & Retrofit – Llanfairfechan

Strong progress as we move into the final stages of this project.

The property is now fully weathertight following first fix, with a new roof in reclaimed Welsh slate and a breathable silicone render system completing the external envelope. A significant insulation upgrade has been delivered throughout, primarily through internal wall insulation, greatly improving thermal performance. Solar PV is now installed, with ASHP and battery storage to follow.

Internally, plastering is underway, with underfloor heating and a full MVHR system in place—providing fresh air while retaining heat.

With windows being installed this week and scaffold coming down shortly, we’re now focused on the final push to deliver a comfortable, energy-efficient home ready for our clients to move back into.

Bungalow transformation nearing completion in Treaddur Bay🔨🏡

New windows, roofline works, and structural steels have completely opened up the kitchen, dining, and living space. Large sliding doors bring in the views and create a true indoor-outdoor feel 🌿

The layout has been reworked to maximise space and flow throughout.

As always, a solid team on this one 👊

Looking forward to Stage 2: porcelain paving and external painting to finish it off 🎯

Continuing work on an exciting extension and renovation project in Llandegfan! 🛠️

We’re opening up the living area with steels going in, walls coming down, and a new flat modern roof light alongside sleek aluminium windows and doors. A huge set of floor-to-ceiling sliders will frame the breathtaking views of the Snowdonia mountain range — the perfect backdrop for this transformation. ⛰️

Over the next few weeks, it’ll really take shape as the Welsh larch cladding and Webber render go on, and the interiors start coming together.

We've been a bit quiet on here lately – just flat out with a few cracking projects! 😅🔨

Time to play catch-up, so expect a few updates coming your way over the next few weeks…

First up – a rear single-storey extension and house reno in the valley. It's all coming together nicely:
✅ Windows are in
✅ Warm roof on
✅ Studwork and first fix underway

Next up: external cladding, plastering, and some sleek porcelain slabbing outside.

Can't wait to see the finished result by the end of the month – it'll have a new kitchen, roof lantern, bathroom, lounge, and utility. Gonna be a belter! 👌✨
