Electrician had to cut access into ceiling for an installation of an extractor fan. We popped in after him and made good the ceiling, leaving an access hatch for any future access requirements.

This week we were called out to a leak on a tenanted property. We found some badly fitted speedfit pipe under kitchen units.
Speedfit is good if used correctly with pipe cutters, inserts and collet clips. This was definitely not the work of a competent plumber!
We removed all fittings and installed them correctly to solve the problem.

Storm damage left this customer with a fascia board down. Quickly sorted by the team. Good job they're not afraid of heights 👀

Progress on our external wall insulation job.
For this we extended the roof to create a soffit over the Ewi before starting the installation. While we were up there we fitted all new felt, batten, eaves trays and ridges. So the roof and walls will be good for years to come 😎

Scaffolding up ready for a full wrap around of external wall insulation. That should improve the EPC and keep future tenants warm!

Wall repair for a landlord.
Tenant reported to H & R Lettings that the wall had become potentially dangerous. We were advised that this was a priority job due to FFHH rules in Wales. Our team were on site and made safe 🫡

Trickle vents fitted throughout this property for a landlord today. Because nobody likes black mould!
How to avoid it (for landlords)
Insulate
Ventilate
Circulate

Insulate walls to avoid cold bridging and condensation points.

Fit mechanical extraction in bathrooms & kitchens.

Circulation of air prevents mould spours, so fit trickle vents where possible and Some older Stone properties really benefit from PIV units (positive input ventilation)
