A great couple of days for our team!

Six of our team, Gareth Howells, Alex Bowden, Thomas Williams, Lee Jones,Jason Grey and Kyle Webber, have completed their City & Guilds Medium Risk Entrant and Entry Controller Confined Space training with Pulse Safety Solutions Ltd.

This specialist training equips them with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely enter, work within and manage medium-risk confined spaces, including safe entry and exit procedures, use of access equipment, and preparing for emergencies. The course included continuous observation, practical assessments and a written examination to ensure competency against national occupational standards.

With 124 workplace fatalities recorded in 2024/25 and an estimated 680,000 non-fatal injuries (HSE, 2025), training like this plays a critical role in keeping our team safe and maintaining the highest standards on site.

A big thank you to the team at Pulse Safety Solutions and Steve Cooper for delivering a well-structured and engaging course.

Continuous training and development remain at the heart of our commitment to safety, compliance, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Vale CRW Ltd who specialise in concrete repair, waterproofing, plastering, and structural work solutions has announced a series of developments.

Over the course of 2025, Vale CRW Ltd experienced substantial growth, doubling the size of its team to meet increasing demand across its expanding project portfolio. This growth culminated in a strategic move to new, purpose-designed premises at the end of the year.

Merthyr Tydfil-based Vale CRW Ltd has also made significant investments in marketing, including enhanced digital marketing initiatives aimed at strengthening brand visibility and engagement across the sector.

The firm has also secured its largest contract to date. Working in partnership with R&M Williams and the City & County of Swansea, the company has been appointed to deliver extensive structural repairs to two tower blocks at Croft Street, Swansea. The project will support over 100 council homes and forms part of a wider multi-million-pound regeneration programme.

At the start of the year, Vale CRW Ltd also achieved ISO 45001 accreditation, the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, whilst renewing ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.

Managing Director Dylan Pritchard said:
“We’ve worked incredibly hard over the past few years to build a business that delivers quality, reliability, and safety on every project. Doubling our team, moving into a new facility, and securing our largest contract to date are all significant milestones, but they’re also a reflection of the trust our clients place in us.

“Achieving ISO 45001, alongside renewing our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, shows our commitment to doing things the right way, for our people, our clients, and the environments we work in.

I’m particularly proud to see team members like Alex Bowden who has been promoted to Contracts Manager progress through the company. That’s what sustainable growth looks like to us, investing in people as much as projects.”

Vale CRW Ltd are sponsors of this year’s G4C Future Leader category, with Dylan contributing as a judge. Following their recognition as Highly Commended in the SME of the Year category in 2023, the company has been shortlisted once again for the SME of the Year award this year.

Cancer impacts nearly all of us in some way.

Last week, Vale CRW had the privilege of hosting a table at the Business Beats Cancer Gala at the Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff—and what an incredible evening it was.

Surrounded by colleagues, clients, and friends, it was inspiring to see such generosity in support of a cause that truly matters. The powerful personal stories and tributes shared throughout the night were a reminder of why events like this are so important.

Moments like these go beyond business—they bring people together for something bigger.

A brilliant evening, for a vital cause.
