We won! We won! 🎉
Crafty Legs Events has won the Hospitality & Events StartUp of the Year in Wales at the StartUp Awards!

Wow we were up against some amazing businesses! We're now heading to the UK final representing Wales.

Pretty mad for us, we were only meant to have 24 gazebos once a month so Sarah could sell her fused glass in Caerphilly! Now we have 165 gazebos, event furniture, a business unit, loads of amazing events and we are expanding like no tomorrow!

It’s been an amazing whirlwind!

We just want to say a huge THANK YOU.

We really appreciate the support and hard work from our amazing Crafty Legs team, which is growing by the week, the late nights, early mornings, you keep smiling! Good job you love it nearly as much as we do!

Our family, we couldn’t have done any of this without you by our sides, installing, supporting, being proud of us and everything else in between!

Special thanks to John & Wendy at Laser Art Engineering and Dan and Gemma at Enfys haf creations, you really are the best.

Crafters, small businesses and every stall holder, you talented lot, you make us proud at every event, thank you.

Every gazebo hire, from 1 gazebo to 165, and new for 2024 our furniture hire (now with green and yellow parasols! Ooh!) and any other hire we may have done, thank you for your trust.

Cllr Jamie Pritchard, you believed in us from the start and have worked with us and supported us, thank you.

Bargoed Town Council thank you for your support and Insole Court thank you for such a beautiful location for a monthly craft fair.

On the 5th and 6th of June, the UK Government may be made to give back the right to retire at 60 to all those women who worked and paid their National Insurance.
Currently their pension payout is delayed until 66.
We all know that the pension age for women born in the sixties has been raised. Did you know a campaign called ‘Back to 60 Movement’ has won the right to a Judicial Review and is taking the DWP to the High Court? On the 5th and 6th June they will attempt to get the 3.9 million women justice over non consultation in raising the pensionable age to 66 and above.
Michael Mansfield QC will lead the case and the argument for the movement. However, there does not appear to be any media coverage regarding this significant event. That is why we’re raising the awareness now. Let's hope for justice rightly deserved.
There appears to be a media blackout on this issue, which suggests that the government have put a block on the media reporting it. So let’s use social media for what it’s good at - share this to bring it to the masses. Come on ladies - this is worth a great deal to you!
