2026 has been some year so far for ITS. 📈

New approvals. New capabilities. Bigger projects. And our teams supporting clients across an increasingly diverse range of sectors.

This year has already seen International Testing Services continue to grow both technically and operationally, with some major milestones along the way:

✅DNV approval for our Advanced NDT services
✅ABS approval across our NDT methods
✅Advanced inspection of offshore wind monopiles
✅NDT supporting the manufacture of subsea skids and structures
✅Inspection of pressure vessels and critical fabrications
✅Supporting the construction of new-build vessels for the MOD
✅Advanced techniques ranging from PAUT & TOFD through to specialised Tandem inspection techniques
✅Continued investment in our people, procedures and technical capability
✅ Scottish Renewables Green Energy Award Winner
✅And importantly, still finding time to support and engage with our local communities

The variety of work our teams have delivered in 2026 is something we’re incredibly proud of.

From huge offshore structures to complex weld configurations requiring specialist techniques, the common theme remains the same:

Find the right inspection solution and deliver it properly.

A massive thank you to our technicians, technical team, office staff, clients and partners who continue to trust ITS with their projects.

Project timelines change. Fabrication schedules slip. Client priorities evolve.

That’s the reality of the industries we support.

At International Testing Services, we pride ourselves on being flexible, responsive, and able to adapt at short notice. Inspection shouldn’t be the bottleneck—it should be the solution.

When your project changes, your NDT provider should be able to change with it. That’s not an added extra; it’s part of the service.

🔷 Another major milestone for International Testing Services (ITS)!

We are delighted to announce that our Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) services have successfully completed the rigorous technical approval process under the DNV Approval Scheme.

This achievement reflects the significant investment we continue to make in our people, procedures and advanced inspection capabilities, reinforcing our commitment to delivering the highest standards of non-destructive testing.

The successful approval demonstrates the technical competence of our advanced inspection team and further strengthens our ability to provide industry-leading PAUT and TOFD services across the offshore wind, marine, fabrication, energy and industrial sectors.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in developing the procedures, supporting the technical demonstrations and preparing the extensive documentation required throughout the approval process. Your professionalism and dedication continue to drive ITS forward.

Another Milestone Achieved for International Testing Services! ✅

We are delighted to announce that International Testing Services (ITS) has successfully completed our annual ISO 9001 Quality Management System Recertification audit with DNV... with zero non-conformities.

Achieving recertification with no findings is a reflection of the hard work, professionalism, and commitment shown by every member of the ITS team. It demonstrates that our quality management systems continue to meet the highest international standards while supporting the delivery of safe, reliable, and technically excellent inspection services to our clients.

A fantastic few weeks for International Testing Services.

We’re proud to have successfully achieved full recertification to ISO 9001, with zero NCRs received during an independent Quality Management System audit conducted by Det Norske Veritas… a reflection of the professionalism, consistency, and dedication of our team.

We were also honoured to be nominated for, and win, a Green Supply Chain Award with Scottish Renewables, recognising our ongoing commitment to supporting a more sustainable future.

Alongside this, we’ve continued supporting several clients with PAUT services, including Gray Fabrication Ltd, where we delivered their first-ever requirement for Phased Array inspection services.

This award recognises the hard work, dedication and commitment of our amazing team, as well as the trust and support from our clients and partners.

Over the last two years we’ve continued to grow, invest in inspection technologies, expand our workforce, and support major offshore wind projects including Dogger Bank, East Anglia 3 and Neart na Gaoithe.

We’re proud to announce that International Testing Services has officially achieved NDT approval with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).

This latest approval further strengthens our commitment to delivering the highest standards of inspection and non-destructive testing services across the marine, offshore, and industrial sectors.

The ABS approval now complements our existing approvals with DNV and Bureau Veritas, reinforcing the confidence our clients place in the quality, competence, and reliability of our inspection services worldwide.

We look forward to continuing to support our clients with trusted, high-quality NDT and inspection solutions.

When a client required an alternative to radiography for a vessel inspection, while remaining fully compliant with ASME standards, ITS delivered the ideal solution.

Using advanced Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), our team provided a safe, efficient, and fully code-compliant inspection method that removed the operational challenges often associated with radiography.

From the initial beam tool design and scan strategy, through to scanner setup and live data collection, ITS managed the full process with precision. The results included clear defect detection and marking, supported by detailed inspection data for complete confidence and traceability.
