After a quiet period, we wanted to share a little update with you all.

Over the past few years, things have been difficult behind the scenes. Following my Dads cancer diagnosis 3 years ago, we sadly lost him, and as a business, we needed to take time to deal with everything that came with that.

During this time, we made the decision not to overbook or commit to large amounts of work, as it was important to us that we didn’t let any of our customers down.

We’re now in a position where we can start taking on more work again, and we currently have availability for plastering and rendering jobs.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, been patient, and stuck by us — it genuinely means a lot.

I’ve been a little slack this week on posting our work, family commitments have took priority of any spare time.

To start the week of we returned to a recent job to render part of the back of this property before the extension is built. Again finished in Johnstones silicone texture in ash grey colour.

As part of one of our recent projects this just goes to show the transformation on this property, going from a really heavy pebble dash to a smooth silicone texture finish. This weeks work wrapped up, I don’t think we’ve ever worked over old dashing with pebble as big as this before so to get the basecoat as flat as we have is a massive achievement in itself. Also it just goes to show Johnstones render products are the best on the market!

To get to this stage we applied key coat to the whole property, then we base coated and meshed over that and gave the product time to cure before applying the 2nd pass of base coat and sponged up ready to apply Johnstones silicone texture to complete this project. Time for a beer and relax now 🍻

Another job we squeezed in this week, with the uncertain weather this week we didn’t think we would get our rendering job complete so we was lucky enough to have this job to put into the week too, all boarded out by the customer which was perfect to skim over. We was approached to quote this job from shares on our previous job posts so it just shows your shares are so helpful to us. Thanks to you all 🍻

One of the jobs we’ve had on this week, the outside of the utility room that we plastered a week or so ago was originally prepped ready to repoint. Then it was decided to have it rendered so 1st we key coated the whole area to bring everything back to a level surface, then we applied basecoat/mesh and finished off in Johnstones 1.5mm texture in ash grey colour

Busy Saturday 2 jobs at done today 1st stop was at sprotborough another one for Brett Gibbons at bg joinery.

2nd job was in swinton for a new customer that I’ve done work for her sister before so I was recommended to them. Looking forward to a well deserved day off tomorrow 😁
