Looking forward to more projects like this in 2025.
Whilst this project wasn’t our biggest, it wasn’t the easiest, it wasn’t the one that generated the most profit. It was up there with the most enjoyable.
A lot of subtle design went into a small space, the challenge of making it all knit together was great. From the complications of limewash which doesn’t cut in easy or patch well, to exposed steel that needs to be fireproofed, casting black dyed concrete worktops over porous, cream, natural stone tiles and secret doors. Every stage required a careful hand and planning ahead, that’s what sorts the good from the great.
