🥛❄️ Another recently completed milk cooling installation!
• This project included the installation of a top-of-the-range 25,000L Rø-Ka Industri A/S silo sold and installed by ourselves alongside DNS - Dave Nicholas Solutions , fitted with independent 6HP condensing units and a sidewall cooling level sensor controller.
• This automatically brings the sidewall cooling into operation when required, delivering more accurate and consistent cooling every time.
•We also supplied and installed a 3-ton Kilkenny Ice Builder, powered by 2 x 10HP condensing units, replacing the customer’s smaller existing unit. We were able to utilise their existing 1,000L heat recovery system, helping to keep costs down while upgrading the overall cooling capacity to match the number of cows being milked.
•To make the most of the new ice builder, we also supplied a larger plate cooler, allowing the system to maximise pre-cooling performance.
•The results speak for themselves — milk is now entering the silo at an impressive 2.7°C. ❄️
•Topping off the installation with a custom-built alcove surround, a complete cooling upgrade, designed around the customer’s herd size and existing setup, delivering better efficiency, improved milk cooling and reliable performance.
