Just a small selection of what ive installed over the last few months. Its a very busy time of the year so not really had time to go through them and post. Alot of these are jobs where we have increased the chamber size and either re pointed the brickwork or finished the chamber with render and some with brick slips installed. Alot also have new hearths installed. Its nice to look back on them. We do our best to restore to the original chamber when possible if not we increase to a size suitable for their selected fire. OLD FIREPLACES ARE MUCH BETTER THAN NEW BUILD FIREPLACES!

Not been posting much recently I've been too busy renovating my house. But here are a few of the Rais stoves I've installed in the last couple of weeks.

We don't often get to widen a chamber as much as this so we enjoyed every minute and are very happy with the end result. Rais Q Tee C on a black limestone hearth. Geo cast beam installed to meet current hetas regs and meet customers requirements.

A poujoulat external twinwall system I fitted last weekend the customer had only part of the chimney breast remaining in the front room and didn't want to compromise on space they had gained upstairs. So the best option was to go out at a 45° angle and up the external wall it was nice to keep the fire looking traditional with a single skin vitrous pipe going off the top of the stove.

A quick make over for this fireplace keeping the original cast iron surround and opening it back up to the original chamber behind luckily the customer was able to find matches for his tiled hearth.

It's nice to be doing some heritage work now the weather's improved. Today I've been doing mortar repairs on this estimated 11th century church which is on going works. Lime mortar supplied by The Lime centre.
