It’s been a busy morning at Arc Angel HQ as we kick off this week's Intro to Stick Welding course ⚡️⚡️

Stick (MMA/SMAW) welding is tricky to learn because you're constantly balancing arc length, travel speed and rod angle while the electrode burn’s away ⚡️⚡️

For those new to stick welding, rutile (E6013) electrodes are ideal because they strike and restart easily, produce a smooth stable arc and create slag that is usually easy to remove ⚡️⚡️

A great start to the course this morning 🧑‍🏭🧑‍🏭

A really great few hours today spent with a customer, learning the ropes of stick welding for a project at home 👨‍🏭⚡️

This week we have been in Bristol delivering training for a company specialising in steam system solutions for the food, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries.

The course covered the principles and practices of MAG welding, combining underpinning knowledge sessions with hands-on practical training in their workshop.

It was great to support their apprentices and technical staff in developing a practical understanding of MAG welding.
