Rapid Response required this morning from the Solis Ventus maintenance crew after reports of a 'Swosh Swich' sound being heard from the wind turbines when normally it's a 'Swich Swosh' noise alerting concerns that they turbines were perhaps turning backwards and were drawing power from the grid rather than producing power. Concerns were confirmed when the guys plugged in the kettle for a cup of tea after arriving on site and it took 30 minutes to warm the water, barely hot enough for coffee.

Another brilliant donation towards Santa's Drive Thru Grotto. Sam Moore from Solis Ventus Ltd dropped off selection boxes today. These go to kids attending the drive thru on 14th December at Newton Stewart Community Fire Station in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity .
