John Lawrie Tubulars Acquires RB Johnson Engineering, Expanding Drilling Market Product Offering

John Lawrie Tubulars ("JLT"), a leading supplier of steel piling products, geotechnical and geo-foundation solutions to the construction and drilling industries, today announced the acquisition of RB Johnson Engineering ("RBJ"), a manufacturer of drilling tooling products.

This strategic move strengthens John Lawrie Tubulars' position in the drilling market and enhances its product range to supply drilling equipment for the site investigation, mineral exploration, water well construction, geothermal, and environmental monitoring markets.

The combination of JLT and RBJ will allow JLT to offer a complete drilling product range, from dynamic sampling through to rotary coring, wireline coring, open hole drilling, friction welded rods and casing.

Under the agreement, RB Johnson Engineering will become part of the John Lawrie Tubulars brand, bringing together complementary expertise, inventory and technologies.

The integration process will begin immediately, with both companies committed to ensuring a seamless transition for employees, customers and partners.

In addition, RB Johnson Engineering will continue operating from a central, easily accessible location in the heart of England, just off Junction 30 of the M1, enabling swift and efficient deliveries while also providing customers with a convenient walk-in trade counter facility.
