What a transformation this project turned out to be!

Our customer wanted to completely reimagine their existing living space and create a modern, functional kitchen and dining area that would become the heart of their home. We were delighted to take on the challenge, and the results speak for themselves.

The project involved:

🔨 Opening up the existing chimney breast to accommodate a freestanding stove and extraction system

🪟 Removing the existing French doors and rebuilding the wall to allow for the installation of a brand-new window

A recent knock-through project we completed, including the installation of an RSJ beam.

We removed the supporting wall between the kitchen and back room and installed an RSJ to safely support the load-bearing wall above.

The result is a much more open-plan kitchen space that feels brighter and larger.

Another bathroom transformation recently completed ✨🛁

This was originally a small downstairs toilet, but we extended the space and turned it into a full bathroom with a bath and shower area.

The project included structural alterations, a new stud wall, new electrics, full replastering, wall tiling, and tile-effect LVT flooring.

A fantastic end result and a great addition to a beautiful home 🏡 ✅ 😃

We’ve finally had some sunshine on our side this week ☀️, which has allowed us to get back to completing external projects.

Here’s a recent job we completed:

Our customer was experiencing significant water ingress in their garage, as the existing roof had reached the end of its lifespan.

Upon removing the old roof, we discovered that the roofing rafters and wall plates were also severely rotten and required full replacement.

We installed new roofing joists and wall plates, followed by a high-quality GRP roofing system. The garage is now completely watertight and will remain low-maintenance for many years to come.

Acoustic panelling? It gives that wow effect doesn’t it?!

Our customer supplied these luxury wall panels and wanted them fitted in their chimney breast alcoves. We were happy to assist!

These panels look fantastic anywhere in the house and make a massive difference aesthetically and acoustically.

This old chimney was leaking and causing the customer internal water ingress problems.

As the chimney was no longer in use we agreed the best case was to remove the chimney stack. Once the stack was removed we fitted a breathable membrane to the area, fitted new roofing battens and tiled the area.

Old chimney removed, leak stopped and all future problems from this chimney have been eliminated!

Some before and afters of a plastering job we’ve recently completed.

Our customer very kindly knocked all the walls back to brick and ripped the ceiling down on this job in preparation for a fresh start.

We plasterboarded the ceiling in insulated plasterboard and freshly plasterboarded all the walls before giving the room a fresh skim coat!

What a transformation 🙂

We’ve been quite busy since returning back to work in January so it’s the first time we’ve had chance to post anything up, but keep an eye out for plenty more of our other recent projects!

2025 Completed!

Before and afters of a nice renovation job we’ve just finished with a bit of everything involved!

- Hallways and landings freshly overskimmed ✅

- Back bedroom freshly skimmed out including storage cupboard and new skirting boards fitted ✅

- Wardrobe storage space and cupboard built in loft area fully skimmed out and then finished with custom MDF doors ✅

- 3 new oak doors fitted into existing frames around the property ✅

- Existing alcove storage removed and custom cupboard and drinks cabinet built into chimney breast alcove ✅
