I was given this book by Helen Helen Shears, one of the absolute legends that were interviewed for the making of this book. These were all women who came before me, who fought for equality in the trades, without whom I would not be doing what I do today. In reading this book I really feel that I am standing on the shoulders of these incredible women. I feel really humbled reading this.
To all the tradeswomen+ past and current - just thank you for who you are. ππ»πͺπͺπ οΈβ₯οΈ
And to all the tradesmen out there who have our backs - you know who you are....
The stand for equality is also a stand for empowerment of all women+.
What do you think - how many women+ currently work in the manual trades in the UK?
