🚴 36 miles. 3 determined riders. 1 important cause.
On Saturday, Chris, Gus and Cheryl took on a seriously tough 36-mile fundraising bike ride in support of Action Medical Research.
From the first mile to the last, the three of them put in the effort, pushed through the tough moments and kept each other going as they took on the miles for a cause that really matters.
Action Medical Research funds vital research to help sick and disabled babies and children, supporting work that could lead to new treatments, cures and medical breakthroughs.
For Chris, taking part was about more than completing a personal challenge. As a dad to two healthy young girls, he considers himself incredibly fortunate, but has seen too many families among his friends and peers who haven't been as lucky.
As he put it: “If it helps just one other family find a cure for their children, it'll be worth every single mile along the way.”
And 36 miles later, that’s exactly what they achieved, turning a difficult physical challenge into an opportunity to make a difference.
A huge well done to Gus, Chris, and Cheryl for taking on the challenge, supporting each other and going the distance for such a fantastic cause. 👏
Every mile counts, and so does every bit of support.
