๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ | Bruntons Aero Products Limited recently integrated an SR-20RIV Type B into their Musselburgh facility. Hear what Alan Hook, Managing Director, had to say about the machine's performance and the benefits of Step Cycle Pro (SCP) chip-breaking technology:
"We recently took delivery of an SR-20RIV Type B sliding head lathe and were genuinely impressed with how quickly Star GBโs service team got it up and running. The machine arrived on the Monday and was cutting parts and in full production by the Thursday.
"The build quality is excellent and having Step Cycle Pro chip-breaking technology included has been a real bonus. The component weโre producing is running very well, and by using SCP to optimise our production process, weโve achieved a cycle time reduction of over 20%. That improvement alone means the machine is on track to pay for itself far quicker than we originally expected and has delivered a noticeable boost to our bottom line.
"On top of that, the SCP feature has significantly improved swarf control. Weโre now seeing much longer periods of stable, unmanned running without the need for intervention, which is helping us maximise productivity and free up operator time for other tasks."
