Five former bedrooms, now a new food and beverage area.

On our latest Premier Inn project in Stockport for McGoff Facility Services, the old pub dining area is being demolished, and a smaller, guests-only food and beverage space has been created in five former bedrooms, with structural alterations, demolition and new steels.

The steel is in at our Stockport project 🏗️

Another major stage complete on our project with McGoff Facility Services, delivering a 24 bedroom new build extension for Premier Inn in Stockport.

The structural steelwork is now in place, and you can really start to appreciate the scale of this development and see the new extension taking shape.

There’s a huge amount of planning and coordination that goes into reaching this stage on a commercial build, and it’s great to see everything coming together on site.

Next stage incoming. We’ll keep you updated as the CJC team continues pushing this project forward.

Roof structure on, drainage in, slabs next. This house extension is about five weeks from being handed back as a shell.

Red steel frame up, timber roof structure on and most of the demolition done.
Structural slabs go in this Friday, then most of the masonry over the following couple of weeks.

10 m³ of concrete in about an hour? That's the plan for this extension's slab pour on Friday, with a concrete pump.

Once the structural slab is in, we prop the steels again, take this pier down, pull the footing through and run the blockwork.
Then it becomes the kitchen: units wrapping round, an island in the middle and roof lanterns overhead.
