We are looking for a gernal builder with a bricklaying and/or groundworks focus
About Us:
We are a small, well-established construction company known for delivering high-quality residential and light commercial projects. From extensions and new builds to landscaping and drainage work, we pride ourselves on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. We’re now looking to add a skilled and reliable General Builder to our team – with a strong focus on bricklaying and groundworks.
The Role:
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a solid background in brickwork, blockwork, concreting, and general groundworks. You’ll be involved in all stages of site prep and structural work, helping deliver projects to a high standard and on time. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and as part of a small, friendly team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality bricklaying, blockwork, and stonework
Carry out all aspects of groundwork including footings, drainage, concrete pours, and site preparation
Lay patios, paths, and driveways as required
Assist with setting out and basic site levels
Follow plans and instructions accurately
Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and safe
Requirements:
Proven experience in bricklaying and groundworks (minimum 3 years preferred)
Ability to read and interpret building plans
Hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented
Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
CSCS card (an advantage)
