Not every home has a wine cellar beneath the floor.

This one does.

As part of a complete ground floor transformation on this New Forest property, we created the space for this stunning spiral wine cellar, installed by the team at Spiral Cellars (UK)

Set flush into the herringbone flooring and visible through a full-height glass partition wall from the open plan kitchen and dining area.

The result is a feature that works architecturally, functionally, and as a genuine talking point in one of the most beautiful rooms we've had the privilege of working on.

A stunning transformation from our New Forest project.

This room was previously a formal drawing room but it’s now been completely reimagined into a warm, cosy sitting room for everyday living.

We stripped the space right back and carried out a full refresh, including new windows, radiators, flooring, and a feature fireplace. Everything was finished to a high standard, ready for the clients to move in and make it their own.

Seeing it now fully decorated and lived in really brings the whole project together and this is exactly what it’s all about for us.

One thing we always encourage on our projects is open conversation.

Because as a renovation unfolds, it’s completely normal for a client’s vision to shift.

During a site visit, our clients walked through the ground floor and realised they wanted the main living space to feel brighter, bigger, and more connected.

Originally, a dividing wall separated the kitchen/dining area from an additional lounge space and the wine cellar. After seeing the progress, the clients decided that removing the wall would create the open-plan layout they truly wanted.

So that’s exactly what we did 💪🏼

The team removed the wall, installed new steels for structural support, and opened up the entire space — transforming it into a beautiful, light-filled area that will soon showcase the wine wall and cellar when finished.

🏡 Here’s a brand new project we’re excited to share!!

We’ve recently begun an extension in Highcliffe, Christchurch, after the homeowners spotted us working on another property in the area.

They later viewed one of our completed projects nearby with kind permission from the owners and got in touch to start their own build.

Work began in early November, and the transformation is already underway.

We started with the full demolition phase, removing the existing garage, and opening up the space.

With the area prepared, the foundations and groundworks followed. Footings were dug, underground blockwork was installed, and the new block-and-beam floor went down before bringing the brickwork up to DPC.

We’re now progressing through the blockwork stage building the new cavity walls, and drainage works have also begun.

Plenty more updates to come as this extension takes shape 🙌

We’re thrilled with the progress in the loft at our ongoing New Forest renovation! The team have completed:

• Panelling
• Skirting boards
• Wall cladding with intricate details
• Hanging all doors

The expert carpentry really shines in this space, and it’s now ready for the decorators to work their magic. We’ll return later to finish the remaining works, but for now, the focus moves to the rest of the house 💪🏼

Project Update: Sitting Rooms & Dining Room Transformation 🏠

With all the focus having been on the upper levels and roof of the property recently, we thought we'd bring you up to speed some of the downstairs spaces.

Sitting Rooms large and small:
- Rework of the existing fireplace to add a modern touch
- New windows throughout for improved light and energy efficiency
- Walls made good and ready for plastering, preparing for that smooth finish
- Repair work on damaged floors and walls to restore the space
- Installation of a flue for the new log burner, with surrounding housing to match
- Blocked up windows and doorways.

Dining Room:
- Windows and doorways blocked up, in line with the new design
- A replacement steel beam installed above the window for structural support
- New windows throughout for improved light and energy efficiency
- Addition of a new fireplace
- Walls prepped and ready for plastering for a sleek finish

Alongside these updates, the team has been busy with extensive plumbing and electrical works.
