To all of our valued customers and followers.
We would like to address some of the rumours that have been circulating about our business.
Like many businesses operating in the current economic climate, we have experienced a challenging period. Industry-wide pressures have been well documented, reports show that over 700 construction firms, mostly small builders and subcontractors, entered insolvency in January and February 2026 alone. As Christmas approached and we recognised the company was facing financial challenges, we engaged a team of experts to advise us on the most appropriate course of action.
As a result, insolvency specialists advised the company to undergo a formal restructure to stabilise operations and ensure a stronger, more sustainable future.
We are proud of the business we have built within the local community. It reflects years of hard work, commitment, and investment, and we continue to stand behind the services we provide and the opportunities we create.
We also want to address suggestions that the company may be trading unlawfully. This is incorrect. A confirmed Section 216 notice has been properly issued to creditors and published in the public record. This step was taken to ensure we did not lose the name we have worked hard to establish. While our official trading entity is now BH2 Developments Limited, the Section 216 process allows us to maintain continuity in how we operate publicly — including our branding, advertising, email addresses, and premises. BH2 Developments Limited T/A Bailey Building Projects.
All actions taken were carried out appropriately and in full compliance with legal requirements. The company is not trading unlawfully, and we want to reassure stakeholders that proper procedures have been followed throughout.
It is disappointing to see speculation and misinformation shared without a full understanding of the facts. Running a business involves navigating complex challenges, particularly in difficult economic conditions. We always make decisions with responsibility, transparency, and compliance in mind. We continue to work with all our suppliers and subcontractors as before, maintaining our normal working relationships without issue.
Our focus remains firmly on moving forward — continuing to strengthen the business and delivering positive outcomes for our clients and the wider community.
We will soon update our socials with all our ongoing and recently completed projects
We would also like to thank those who have continued to support us and reach out with encouragement. Your support is genuinely appreciated.
