Completed a small job in Seaton Delaval, replacing unsuitable stones around a doorway with larger, reclaimed stone. Also carried out some additional stone replacement and lime pointing to restore the masonry.

Been looking forward to this one! 🔨 Started restoration work last week at the stunning Raven Hall Hotel in Ravenscar, overlooking Robin Hood’s Bay. Definitely worked in worse locations! 🌊🏰

Stonewall Transformation before & after @ Newbiggin-by-the-Sea

Really enjoyed this one! Big thanks to our lovely clients Lynn and Pete — great to have you both on the tools with me!

We took down the old stone wall, carefully cleaned and stored all reusable stone, and blended in some new pieces to match. Every splayed stone was hand-crafted from the original materials, giving it that authentic, character-rich finish.

We rebuilt the wall higher and wider, and topped it off with natural buff coping — returns polished and cut perfectly on the splay.
