We use NHS-accredited laboratories to perform genetic sequencing to identify if you, or the person you care for, carry the genes that place you at higher risk of developing an adverse reaction to certain types of joint implants.

Once purchased, the MyOrthotype test is sent to you by post, where you can follow the simple instructions in the pack to provide a saliva sample, and return the sample in the pre-paid packaging.

Your saliva sample is analysed by an NHS-approved lab to see if you carry the genes that place you at higher risk, and your report is emailed to you.
