Waste and downpipe ✅👨🏼‍🔧

Didn’t have the option of moving the down-pipe so had to come up with something to get the rainwater in the gully and not onto the ground in the garden (it’s been flooding it and pooling) also causing dampness on the wall. 🤙🏻💦

🔥After completing 31 jobs, 5 day bookings and over 900 miles (so far this month) …………….. today is the last day before I’m away for 10 days.🔥

I will try my best to get through the last remaining messages and quotes.
Due to going away I’ve worked non stop before hand on the jobs themselves. ✅

I am on an all day booking today but will have some time this evening to catch up.👌

Outside tap number 100 this month 😂👨🏼‍🔧

Went through two cupboards ✅
added two different types of pipe (plastic and copper due to the distance to cover plastic was the more financially viable option for the customer) ✅
some soldering ✅
isolation valve ✅
double check valve ✅
pipe clips and a much needed coffee later ……… done ✅

Had to go through the cupboards as there was no removable plinths and the pipework was a mishmash of previous years of work etc …… kitchen will be stripped out and replaced in the future when the plumbing will all be redone 👌

Hi all,👋

🚨Just a business update following my recent page poll.(deposits)🚨

Going forward all work booked in will require a deposit (this will be a fixed percentage) and will come off the total to pay on the day.🙏🏻

There’s a number of reasons for this (below is just a few) :-
It offers me a safety net as a business ✅
Weans out the people that don’t have the intention of having work done ✅
Covers my costs which you may not be aware of ✅
Ensures those that are waiting can be seen sooner ✅

This month (but have lost this amount in one week) I’ve lost 9 hours of work/pay/time driving to complete work that’s booked in and they’ve not been there, not messaged, not answered or had made alternative arrangements.

9 hrs lost a week is 468 hrs a year !!! Or nearly 20 full days of your life 😬
I cannot continue to take 20 days away from the business, my time or most importantly my children.

I’ve broken down the time in the picture attached for reference …………. It may surprise you. 👀

I hope you all understand and thanks to all of you for the support, jobs you provide me and for taking the time to read this important update. 👨🏼‍🔧

Previous panwas leaking due to being cracked and aged.
