Resonate Testing is a new commercial test house for organisations in the UK, Ireland and beyond. Our 6000sq ft.

Resonate Testing is a commercial test house working across a number of industrial sectors, including space and aerospace, based in Newry, Northern Ireland. state-of-the-art test facility lies within three cornerstones of testing:
- Vibration and shock
- Fire and flammability
- Environmental and Climatics (including temperature, humidity, altitude)

We can also accommodate testing for high flow

and high temperature aircraft engine oil and fuel component testing. Our talented engineers and technicians offer clients bespoke, tailored support and solutions for a range of environments, replicating the harshest conditions on the planet. We offer testing and certification services according to customer-specific requirements in:
• Aerospace
• Automotive
• Medical Technology
• Defence and Humanitarian Aid
• Electrical and Mechanical

We’ve extensive experience in test planning and delivery, and conduct a range of testing services, combining high vibration and SRS shock, propulsion systems, fire, vibration, specialist bespoke rigs, battery testing and general environmental tests. Our recent new test capability enables oil valve and fuel functional testing, with the ability to heat and pressurise low flow volume, which will be used during the fire testing of aircraft propulsion systems. A family SME, we service clients throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe, Russia, Japan, and the USA. On the Island of Ireland, we’re recognised as a centre of excellence for testing components for use in space launch vehicles; being the only commercial facility on the Island of Ireland that can perform combined temperature and vibration testing up to 54kN, and SRS shock to 10,000G. We currently hold the UKAS Testing and ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 accreditations.

🚀 We’re Hiring: Quality and Test Engineer

Resonate Testing are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Quality and Test Engineer to join our growing team.

You will play a key role in both quality assurance and hands-on test engineering activities, acting as the primary engineer for related enquiries and contracts. While prior experience in testing is beneficial, full training will be provided for candidates with a strong interest in developing these skills.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

· A level 3 qualification in engineering or a relevant STEM subject (or equivalent training/experience).
· At least 3 years’ experience in quality assurance.
· Awareness of testing processes and activities.

Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience

· Experience in quality management within a laboratory environment.
· Experience in testing.
· Familiarity with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 management systems or similar standards.

On Friday of 20 June, in advance of International Women in Engineering Day, we welcomed a group of students from Our Lady's Grammar School, Newry for a tour of our facilities.

Conor began with a presentation about the product testing we do, and then it was out to the laboratory for some live demonstrations on vibration testing and battery testing.

It was great to engage with the engineers of tomorrow, fielding questions and giving a small insight on the day-to-day workings of an engineer.
