Nice little install for Mid Wales Logburners and Flues Limited/Llani Renewables for a lovely customer in our village.
Great to see a log burner going in to offset the ridiculous running costs of the Goverment back heat pump schemes. This customers electricity bill went from being £36 pcm to over £170pcm since having a goverment backed heat pump fitted.
Buyer beware.

What should have been a 3 hrs job for Mid Wales Logburners and Flues Limited/Llani Renewables, to swap out 3 heat meters fitted to a commercial biomass heating system today, turned out to be a full days work.
System installed by others over 10 yrs ago, unfortunately they “forgot” to fit isolation valves to the serviceable items such as the pumps and heat meters.
Anyway after a 3000 litre tank of 80 degree water was drained suitable to allow the new service valves to be fitted and the new heat meters in line with OFGEM regulations after 10 yrs.
If you need your RHI heat meters calibrated or renewing to comply with OFGEM rules we have engineers who can assist, even if you need service valves fitting 👌

Today’s biomass call out showed the importance of keeping on top of maintenance.
These biomass boilers do a lot of work on commercial premises and need to be looked after, fortunately this customer was vigilant and spotted the issue so we could rectify it before any more damage occurred.

Whilst we were at this installion we noticed the RHI heat meters were almost up to their 10 yr calibration or renewal. It’s important to know if you do not get your heat meters either calibrated or renewed with the correct paperwork you could LOSE your RHI payments💰
We have engineers who are fully qualified and endorsed to fit RHI heat meters.
