Handmade Joinery & Construction is looking for an experienced Carpenter / Joiner to join our team in Belfast.
We work across high-quality joinery and construction projects and are looking for someone who takes pride in workmanship and attention to detail.

📍 Belfast
💷 £120–£200 per day (depending on experience)
🛠 Temporary / Fixed-Term or Self-Employed Subcontractor
📈 Opportunity for ongoing work for the right person

Requirements:
✔ Previous carpentry / joinery experience required
✔ First fix and/or second fix experience essential
✔ Relevant qualifications preferred (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
✔ Equivalent site experience considered
✔ CSCS Card welcomed but not essential

This oak floor had badly buckled and lifted, so it wasn’t just a sand and finish job — we had to carefully lift, re-lay, and stabilise the entire floor before restoring it. New project underway for Handmade Joinery & Construction. We’ve started work on installing a new flat warm roof as part of a full renovation that will transform this Victorian house into a modern home while carefully preserving and highlighting its original Victorian features.

This project is all about blending old with new bringing the property up to modern living standards while respecting the character and details that make Victorian homes so special. Looking forward to sharing the progress as the transformation begins.

Starting a full renovation project to reinstate this home after a major leak caused significant damage throughout the property. The work includes installing new ceilings, new flooring and carpets, updated electrics, a brand new bathroom, and full redecoration using Dulux paints to achieve a high-quality finish.

The aim is to restore the house back to a fresh, comfortable living space and bring it back to the standard it should be. Looking forward to sharing the progress as the project develops.
