Chances are if you are reading this today, you are blessed in one way or another. Like us, I am guessing that you and your family might not have everything you want but your needs are met. Unfortunately this year, because of Covid 19 families are really struggling to put food on the table nevermind buying pressies for Christmas.

I am always looking for ways to show my kids just how blessed they are, and attempting in small ways to get them to see beyond their own little bubble. Just last Christmas they gave the toys that they didn't play with or need to the Children's Hospital. Now, they say it's my turn.

This is the costly damage you can do when you run out of oil. It sometimes not just a matter of bleeding. The bucket is the contaminated oil which was at the bottom of the tank that was sucked through when the customer tried to fire it up when she got a fill of oil...resulting in a new oil pump and filter. ££££

PNA Plumbing, Heating & Gas have taken the decision to temporarily shut down non-assential services to help reduce and prevent the spread of Covid-19 or potential.

As I may visit up to 6 customers a day, some elderly, I would be deemed as a potential carrier.
My priority at this time must be the health & safety of my customers as well as myself and family.

A loss of income surpasses a loss of life!

2 boilers saved this week. These customers thought by getting a cheap service, they would save money....it ended costing them more.

One customer said ' that the combustion door had never been removed'. Long term damage can occur if the boiler is not serviced properly. During the combustion process, deposits will build up on the internal surfaces of the heat exchanger and the baffles which can decrease boiler efficiency. If left for a number of years, these deposits harden and with some designs of heat exchanger render it impossible to remove the baffles without destroying them. A replacement baffle will come at a significant cost on top of the routine service charge.

Its getting nearer that time when we start to switch the heating on. Having your boiler serviced is the best way to avoid boiler breakdowns. We think that the months leading up to winter are the best times for boiler services and safety checks; months of disuse can create problems in all appliances, and these problems can lead to central heating system failures when the appliance begins operating in winter. Boilers should be serviced every year in order to ensure that they are safe and efficient.
