This job was originally booked in as a repair to replace the decking boards as they were rotting away and the customer was worried about someone falling through.

Once the old boards were lifted, it became clear the subframe was also suffering from rot — so everything was stripped back and fully replaced with new timber for a safe, solid finish 🔨

I did manage to salvage and reuse the existing newel posts, banisters, and spindles to help keep costs down for the customer while still giving it a fresh new look.
