Traditionally we work from Consulting Engineer drawings. From these we can establish dimensions, levels, section sizes and loadings. With this information we can produce a 3D model and associated drawings from scratch. Once our general arrangement drawings have been approved we will then issue a full fabrication package and construction-issue general arrangement drawings for use on site. Design &
Build projects are also welcomed. We pull all of the information together from Architectural drawings and design calculations to provide the same accurate outcome as an engineered job. We also work from prelim models where the fabricator has already modelled the steel members for early material procurement and development purposes. We will then work with your model, initially providing a full checking service if desired and then connect the steelwork prior to production of your fabrication package. As an alternative approach we can work directly for main contractors and private clients. This gives you the opportunity to issue a complete fabrication package from which fabricators can then price, so there are no expensive hidden costs/variations other than those that have already been ironed out at design stage. If required, we can recommend fabricators locally and nationally to whom you can put your package out for tender.
