Utility room refurb 🪚

Take a look at our most recent project we’ve just completed!

After 30 years of use it was time for an upgrade, with the help of & we managed to bring this room back to life!

With fresh white gloss units and a worktop, wall & floor tiles, new spotlights and brushed steel sockets faces, plus a skim of plaster and paint and this is the end result!

Column radiator issue 🔧

One of the most common issues we see with these radiators is they pull off the wall, this is due to poor installation and the wrong fixings used for the weight of the radiator!

The new DDA is the way forward with these heavy radiators 💪! The last thing you want in your house is a live radiator coming off the wall!

After a quick drain down, new fixings in the wall and it’s all sorted!

Plant room maintenance 👨‍🔧

We recently carried out some maintenance works for a local care home we look after.

- 1st job was to change a 600l expansion vessel, we swapped this out for a new bottom entry vessel with a changeable membrane

- 2nd job was to change the autofill unit on the heating side of the buffer tanks that store the hot water

- 3rd job was to change a twin head central heating pump that supplies the underfloor heating manifolds

Unvented cylinder 💧

Here’s some of our recent work on a project that we have been involved in.

The existing system to the house was gravity fed with every hot outlet ran off one shower pump! With the customer having two bathrooms with a shower in each and not wanting to listen to a shower pump every time somebody opened a hot tap, this was the best option!

Unvented cylinders are a great way of creating great water pressure and flow rate out of every tap as shower pumps are not designed for this!

We were recently involved in a quick turn around project in October half term which consisted of the staff male and female toilets, along with the staff kitchen all being upgraded!

Vaillant boiler swap 🐰

We received an emergency call out over the weekend for a split heat exchanger, managed to re arrange the week and get this swapped out fairly quick for its latest model!

Along side the new ecotec plus boiler, we installed the sensohome thermostat with external weather compensation thermostat optimising maximum efficiency!
