🔨 Remedial job completed by DG Building 🫡

I was contacted by a customer regarding some remedial work on a patio that had been installed last year.

Unfortunately, the original edging hadn’t been finished correctly and had started to move away from the patio. There were also several loose slabs due to the preparation work carried out when the patio was originally laid, leaving the edges looking unfinished and untidy.
The customer wanted it put right and given a proper finished look — so that’s exactly what we did. 👌

The work included:
✔️ Removing and cleaning up all of the existing edges
✔️ Installing a sleeper boarder around the path
✔️ Reinstalling the block paving securely
✔️ Sorting the loose slabs and tidying the surrounding area
✔️ Creating a much stronger, cleaner and more modern finish

The new sleeper edging gives the patio a solid, defined and modern look, while also providing a much more secure finish around the path.

🏡 Bay Window Transformation Completed! 👷‍♂️

It was a pleasure to complete this project for a great friend of mine.

The existing bay window was transformed by building a new brickwork bay, creating the opportunity to open up the space inside and make use of what was previously dead space.

The result is a much more practical layout, adding both character to the front of the property and valuable usable space indoors.

✨ One of my favourite projects to date! 🏡

This beautiful limestone patio is now complete, and we're delighted with how it turned out.
The project included:

✔️ Premium limestone patio ✔️ Bullnose step for a clean, elegant finish ✔️ ACO drainage channels installed to manage surface water ✔️ Four manhole covers seamlessly built into the patio, leaving them virtually invisible.

This one certainly took some hard graft, but the end result speaks for itself. It's always worth the extra effort to achieve a finish that looks this good, and it's definitely one of my favourite projects we've completed.
