Traditional - Sand & Cement screeds
Traditionally consisting of sharp sand and cement and a small amount of water. Fibre Reinforced Screed
By adding reinforcing Polypropylene fibres to the mix it is possible to produce high strength screeds with compression strength in excess of 30 Nmm2
This will also minimise shrinkage & cracking whilst curing, as well as reducing permeability of the surface and thus making it fracture resistant. Additional strength can be gained by laying the screed over with d49 steel reinforcement fabric wrapping mesh. Fast Drying Screeds
By using our range of LFS additives and screed admixtures we can drastically improve the curing time of the screed and therefore the walk on times of the floor
Self-Levelling Screeds
Self-Levelling or Self-Smoothing Screeds Screeds provide a perfectly flat surface for fitting additional floor surfaces ( ie. preparing for fixed floor coverings such as, carpet , LVT flooring, floor tiles or engineered flooring
Liquid Screeds
Liquid Screeds (aka free flowing screeds ) use an anhydrite / Calcium Sulphate binder rather than cement, they are usually delivered to site pre mixed and pumped in directly. They can be laid a lot thinner than traditional screed with no need for reinforcement. Latex Screeds
Self-leveling compounds that can be laid to a thin depth. An LFS primer will be required to bond the latex to the existing surface. Rapid drying times.
