Last week our fire marshal's took part in refresher training and we welcomed a new member to the fire safety team !🔥

The day consisted of:
- What causes a fire
- The different types of fire extinguishers
- Evacuation plan and procedures
- Practical training

Each department within Metrol has their own fire marshal in order to keep everyone safe and ensure we are following the correct protocols.

A few weeks ago, we hosted our annual charity event. This year, we chose to raise money for The Lewis Foundation, and our goal was to raise even more than last year.

We are proud to say that we successfully cycled and rowed 513.54km, raising £3,433, an incredible amount that will make a difference to many patients across Northampton.

From all of us here at Metrol, thank you to Lorraine and Lee Lewis for your continuous support - the work you do each day is truly inspiring.

We would also like to say a big thank you to Moulton Leisure Centre for providing us with the equipment needed to make this day possible for the third year running.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who donated and helped us to go beyond our goal. We look forward to next year's event!
