I remember running past here, 1996, 7 years old. I’d just been to the Regal to watch my first cinema movie, Toy Story. We were walking down to the town McDonalds for a happy meal and I was running around this area blissfully unaware my relative had been here for a good few years. I wonder what Thomas would think of Northwich town centre today 😔

Hi all - we are a bit hectic at the moment so looking for more staff, we need

X1 central heating installer (must be Gas safe registered)

X1 Service engineer (must be gas safe registered, oil experience is a benefit)

We carry out domestic and commercial works on Gas, Oil, LPG and air source heat pumps. We now got air conditioning too, the installer would be able to get experience across the entire field as we sometimes do jobs where we send everybody at once to get it completed.

Throwback to my grandad and founder (right) and father left. The van would likely have been a few years old I imagine so probably around 93-94. I’d have been 4 years old, as a family we used to go to delamere station every year to get a Christmas tree and then a breakfast in the cafe, there was normally around 15 or more of us and I really do miss those days and have surprisingly vivid memories of them. Lost my old man in 2021 and my grandfather in 2022 and not a day goes by where I don’t think about them. I was very fortunate to serve a harsh but educational apprenticeship, learning all aspects of the trade and all different fuel sources. I have two boys of my own, maybe in 10-15 years one of them will join and become the fourth generation, how different the industry will be then I don’t know but it’s changing all the time. When I started it was still common place to work on plenty of old open flued appliances, non condensing and heat pumps were probably sold in the 10s if at all in the UK. Even as a kid I remember my grandfather being on the phone booking jobs in, or my grandmother Eileen doing so, we now have people book a job in - the job get completed and I don’t even speak to anybody, sort of progress sort of sad but we have to evolve with customers wants and needs or we get left behind. No real point to this post, just feeling nostalgic, but if you want a new boiler I may as well tag that here just drop us a message 😆😍
