Another one finished this week. This ones for the kids, Nick can't go out in the van without his mini me's, which leaves Mum Shelly behind.
Problem solved!
Side window, new solid floor & additional seats fitted.

A visit this morning from M&K Window Cleaners. The secondary dc system that powers the wash & reach hasn't been at it's best for a while which means the lads are having to carry spare batteries. A couple of hours with us this morning diagnosed some poor connections across the battery posts, we fitted new 10mm battery clamps, replaced all the cable ends & beefed up the earth system while at.
All finished for 9am, which meant the lads we're just in time for a full day's graft.
Thanks for the work lads, it was a pleasure to meet you.

Professionally fitted awning ?

Camper van Jones booked in for an awning. Turned out to be an awning supply & install, fit replacement alloys & a health check on the 12v as the leisure battery didn't appear to be holding its charge.
Battery tested & replaced, charging well again. Got the van up on the ramp & fitted its smart new treads, then got stuck into the new awning which fitted into the already fitted multi rail.
A nice little job to get stuck into, an absolutely stunning & well cared for van thats owned by an equally nice fella.

Reach First Aid called in this morning, the passenger door was catching the front of the awning cassette. On inspection, it was found that a reputable conversion company had fitted what looked like a home made mounting kit. The weight of the awning wasn't spread across enough surface area & as a result the brackets have pulled through the roof & split the steel. What should have been a simple install is now an involved repair involving, welding, painting & the correct fitting kit.

A nice little T6 popped in for a replacement water pump hose, central locking check & some missing panel clips replaced.

Another chilled day off today. Campervan Yoggy popped in for a health check. We fitted his electrics last year but after Clare Schafer plugged in a kettle the size of a bungalow 🤣, they've lost use of the 240v socket. Little bit of testing & it was found that all is well apart from the actual socket had failed. I've never seen this before, but we replaced it & now they're ready for their summer adventures. Once we'd sorted that we needed to give one of own vans a little TLC, bottom ball joints & drop links replaced (thank-you UK potholes) then a quick internal valet & an exterior bath, ready for another busy week.

I thought I was having a day off, Roger from Reach First Aid called this morning, the van was making a grinding noise. Opened up for him, got it on the ramp & found the drivers side front wheel bearing had collapsed. New bearing sourced, stripped, replaced & back on the road the same day. Ready to hit the road again delivering invaluable first aid training across the UK.

Campervan Dolly popped in yesterday after feeling a little low on vitamin D.
Her solar panel had taken the knock & we couldn't get a replacement before her weekend away.
We've disconnected the failed panel, installed a set of extension leads & let her borrow one of our spare panels. She's feeling much better now with a little sunshine back in her life.
