Progress update – Aylsham renovation & extension 🔨

The transformation is well underway on our Aylsham project.

We’ve completed the structural demolition works, opened up the rear of the property, installed the steelwork, and started preparing for the new rear and side extensions.

This project will deliver a modern, energy-efficient family home complete with underfloor heating, MVHR, solar panels, EV charging and battery storage.

Great progress from the team so far, and we’re looking forward to sharing the next stages as the build develops.

A look back at this stunning kitchen and dining space transformation completed by the team at BJC Construction in Taverham.

Designed with both style and practicality in mind, this project brought together timeless cabinetry, elegant worktops, bespoke detailing and a bright open-plan layout to create a space perfect for modern family living. From the initial construction work through to the final finishing touches, every element was completed with the care, precision and attention to detail that our team is known for.

Years later, it’s still a project we’re incredibly proud of and a great example of how thoughtful design and quality workmanship can completely transform the heart of a home.

Progress is moving fast at the Riverside Apartments development in Norwich. 🏗️

Having followed this project from the very beginning, when it was nothing more than a concrete slab, it’s great to see how far the site has come. The exterior works are now well established, and attention has shifted indoors as the apartments continue to take shape.

The boarding is well underway, plasterers are busy transforming the internal spaces, and bathroom installations have now begun. Every visit shows another major step forward, and we’re excited to keep documenting the journey as these six riverside homes move closer to completion.

Big progress being made on this Norwich extension project 👷‍♂️📍

From the initial demolition and structural work through to the extension build and roof installation, the transformation on this one has been huge.

With the exterior now complete, the team are pushing on with the internal fit-out including plasterboarding, first-fix work, insulation, and preparing the new spaces for the next phase of the build 🔨

Plenty more to come on this project.

A look back at one of our favourite projects completed towards the end of last year 👏

This extensive renovation and reconfiguration completely transformed the property, including two new extensions and alterations to the existing dormer windows to create more space and functionality across the first floor.

From the moment you walk through the door, the attention to detail throughout this home really speaks for itself ✨

A large welcoming entrance hall was created to open up the space, alongside a stunning oak staircase and crittal-style doors leading through into the lounge combining modern finishes with warmth and character throughout.

The finished result is a bright, spacious and beautifully designed family home with carefully considered details in every room.

A lot of progress has been made recently down at the Yarmouth Road project 👏

First fix electrics and plumbing are now well underway and the team have been busy boarding out throughout the building. We’ve also made great progress on the balcony decking, which is really starting to bring the outside space together on all 3 floors.

It’s great to see this project continuing to take shape, and we’re looking forward to sharing more updates with you soon 🔨

Another fantastic transformation completed by the team here at BJC Construction 👏✨
