New foundations are being laid at Eaton to phase two for our client. The part of the project will be a front double storey extension to provide our clients with some much needed additional space for their home!

We have been on site this week completing a new door installation on our project in Acle!

A big part of this project was to re-brick the external wall skin, which was done due to the old work not being completed to a high standard. We made the opening wider to be able to accommodate the new infinite three sliding doors. With the lintel installed above to accept the wider doors, we got to work on installing them.

As we spent time on rebuilding the outer skin block work, our team used this opportunity to not just make the finished product look excellent, but we were also able to tie in with the cladding on the side of the building.

New Windows and Doors!

The HBS team have been back at Eaton this week, completing the installation of French Doors and windows. It was extremely important to our client to ensure that the new windows and doors match the existing of their home. We spent some time working with our supplier to arrange for the closest match possible.

We were extremely happy with the installed results and our clients were over the moon. This completes the external part of this build and now it's time for our team to move inside!

Eaton Roof Update!

This week the HBS team have been back at Eaton this week completing the roofing works. We seemlessly interlocked the new tiles with the exisiting, which required our team to remove and peel back to allow the new join. With the four Velux windows installed, this will provide our client a lot of light in their new modern space. To finish our team install new white sofits and facias to match exisiting.

Great progress on this build and HBS providing the seemless finish.

Attleborough Stair Tower

This week the HBS team have been back at Attleborough continuing the construction of the stair tower. Our team managed to complete the first floor and second floor landing areas. We then had the walls plasterboarded up to second floor area. The stairs are on order and we can't wait to show them installed.

Attleborough Stair tower Update!

This week we had a helping hand from Ben and the team at Watling construction & groundworks to assist with our current project. Using their specialist crane, they were able to lift the smoke ventilation sky light three stories high and into position; clearing obstacles with a breeze.

Our team then got to work and fibre glassed the whole area and got it ready for the final top coat. This will then give our team time to continue work on the internals of the stair tower and continue progressing to get it open.

Another great week for the HBS team and we look forward to continue sharing our updates with you!

Eaton update!

Roofing season is well underway, and we are continuing work on the roof over at Eaton. Due to the requirements for this roof, our skilled team had to hand cut all the timbers for the roof to structural specifications. We ensured to leave the openings for the Velux windows which will be installed at a later date. With white soffits and facias being installed this adds a nice finish for the end of the week.

Attleborough Roof!

The HBS team have been back at Attleborough this week working on the flatroof for the stair tower. With the carpentry carefully installed and crafted, we are getting ready for the specialised smoke window. This is a key saftey feature for the tower , as the window has an electric opening mechanism that automatically activates during a fire emergency.

More updated to follow and the crane has been booked for the window installation!

Roof Construction - Norwich!

The HBS team have been busy preparing a roof construction on an annex in Norwich. With the block work finished by Deano, we got to work on manouvering the large steel beam onto the padstones using our own genie lift. Once this was setup, Paul and the carpentry team started cutting and preparing the rafters which were bolted onto the steel.

Good progress on this project, with more updates still to follow.

Attleborough Progress!

The HBS team have been back at Attleborough this week continuing work on the stair tower conscruction. With block work now completed up to roof height, this construction shell is almost complete. To be within keeping of the local area, our client wanted to have white wooden windows.

Another strong week for the HBS team, and still more work to continue on this project!
