✍ My Plan for North Norfolk - PLEASE SHARE!
👉 Each day I will be setting out my plans for the constituency if I am lucky enough to be re-elected on Thursday 4th July. We started off strong yesterday with increasing service provision at our Cromer Hospital. A hugely popular initiative.
🦷 Number 2 is bringing a new dentistry school to the UEA and therefore more NHS dentistry provision in North Norfolk.
🪥 As the son of an NHS dentist, it has been a key priority of mine to improve local dental provision and help countless residents in need.
👉 Locally I have worked closely with the Dental Design Studio, together we helped save the dentist in North Walsham.
🎓 A few months ago I hosted Dame Andrea Leadsom, Former Minister for Public Health to tour the UEA and discuss a new dentistry school.
👉 The University is on board, and we know that a school in the East of England would be transformational. Currently there is no school outside Birmingham or London which is why we struggle to attract newly qualified dentists here.
👉 I will continue to work to deliver a dental training centre at the UEA, so students can qualify and then set up locally and provide for the people of North Norfolk. We are so close to this dream!
