Reclaimed bricks, a house over 200mm out of plumb, and not a straight line in sight… just the sort of challenge we enjoy. 🔨

Really pleased with how these curved steps and the brick detailing around the doorway turned out. The aim was to make it look like it had always been there.

It’s a shame most of it will be painted, but the quoins around the door will remain on show.

Next up, reclaimed cappings on the gable end. More photos to follow. 👌

Another completed fencing project
I recently carried out work for a lovely couple who needed easier access to the back fields of their garden. To achieve this, I replaced one of the fence panels with new, solid gate posts, ensuring a neat and secure finish. I also repaired their existing steel gates by replacing all the damaged feather edge boards, leaving everything strong, tidy, and built to last.

This property has undergone a significant transformation, receiving a complete facelift. The exterior has been revitalized with a fresh coats of paint, and any deteriorated areas have been repointed. New fascias, soffits, and gutters have been installed, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity. The roof has been comprehensively overhauled with new felt and battens, complemented by lead work to ensure a high quality finish. Additionally, the windows have been carefully repaired, and new window sills were custom made on site to perfectly fit the existing frames. Me and the team have kicked off on with stripping an old, weathered roof that had non-breathable felt.

We're replacing the felt and battens, installing new leadwork around the chimneys, and upgrading the gable. finished with nice new facias and deep flow gutters.

We’ll also be doing some fresh brickwork on the gable, finishing it off with creasing tiles and engineering bricks.
