Be sharp, Be aware

Please check before booking your service that the company are the real deal.

Ask them how long they’ve been in the industry, Question where they’ve previously worked, which manufacturers they’ve personally visited, Their qualifications.

You see, experience is earned and not bought.

Misleading web pages and Facebook bios about umpteen years established or experience are not always true.

Make sure you grill them before booking them.

This is not a case of “ Dack’s not busy”. Dack is extremely busy.

This is a case of cowboys telling people that Dack has done it wrong to the point that people are emailing me saying they’ve “ lost confidence in you”.

That’s naughty, very naughty. We can all co exist together but NOT with a slanderous outlook like that just so you can make a few extra quid.

I’ve based my 26 years on honesty and it’s served me well. What you lose one day you will gain another. Just be honest.

I know I’m ranting but I’m passionate. I’ll be honest, I nearly packed in last week because I’ve had enough.

Please guys, don’t believe the spiel. Ask the questions.

We’ve had several reports recently of battery’s overheating and exploding.

One particular incident would have almost certainly ended up in a total loss of the caravan and possibly the family home if we had been half an hour later.

If you get a whiff of a sulphur type smell in the caravan please unplug from the mains immediately and replace your leisure battery.

Touch your battery occasionally to make sure it’s not hot. If it is, please disconnect the mains immediately.

If your battery is over 3 years old this information is even more relevant.

Leisure batteries are like bombs. Please take care
