Good news for anyone who missed out on an engineering place at college this September🛠️

We know September can be a tough month for young people - especially for those who didn't quite get onto the course they'd hoped for! If that's you, or someone you know, we don't want that door to close on a career in engineering!

REAGIT is delighted to announce we're now able to offer an additional Engineering Construction Industry Training Board REAGIT Scholars cohort, starting 28th September 2026.

This is a genuine second chance to start a fully-funded, full time course into a skilled trade — but spaces are limited:

10 places available — Mechanical

2 places available — Pipefitting

Because numbers are so limited, we'd encourage anyone interested to apply as soon as possible.

Applications are open now.

👉 Visit the Scholars page at www.reagit.co.uk and complete the application form

📧 Or email us directly at [email protected]

If you didn't get the start you wanted this year, this could still be it. Please share this with anyone who might need to see it — it might make all the difference to someone.

It is sad to hear the news at Poultec and the effect that it will have on some of their learners. These types of decision are never easy to make and we know that there would have been deep consideration before the final decisions were made.

For those engineering students that have been affected, please reach out to us at REAGIT.

We currently have spaces available on our Level 2 ECITB Scholarship Programme.

The course covers:

Level 2 ECITB qualification in Pipe Fitting
Level 2 City & Guilds in Welding & Fabrication

CCNSG Safety Passport

Working at Height training
Manual Handling certificate
Abrasive wheels certificate
Confined spaces training
Safe use of tools and equipment certicate

The course is:
Full time
5 days per week
Based at our centre off of Carrow Road
Pays £60/wk bursary to support the scholar.

For full details, check out the scholarship tab on our website at www.reagit.co.uk

As the countdown continues, we wanted to shine a light on why REAGIT is different and why so many employers, learners and parents are choosing us over the traditional FE colleges.

We’re just a 10-minute walk from Norwich Train Station, making us easily accessible from across Norfolk and beyond. No awkward bus routes or walks from the bus station, no long commutes, just straightforward access for learners, employers and visitors. Plus, loads of onsite parking!

🔧 𝐒𝐨… 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐓 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥?
REAGIT isn’t a general FE college.
We’re an independent, specialist engineering and industrial training centre, and that difference matters.
✔ Solely focused on engineering, manufacturing and industrial trades
✔ No distractions, no hair & beauty, no hospitality, no mixed priorities
✔ Industry-standard workshops, not classrooms pretending to be workshops
✔ Tutors with real-world industry experience, not teachers or techs trained to be engineers
✔ Training designed around what employers actually need
✔ Smaller groups, more hands-on time
✔ Clear pathways into apprenticeships, employment and upskilling
✔ Strong employer collaboration at the heart of everything we do
✔ ECITB-funded REAGIT Scholarships, removing barriers and creating real pathways into engineering careers.
We train people for the real world of work, not just to pass a qualification.
