🔨 Bathroom Adaptation - Day 1 🔨
Not going to lie... Luke won't be winning any awards for photography with these before pictures! 😂📸
I'm not a fan of before photos but thats how it starts.
Today's task was the full rip out of this bathroom adaptation. It's a bit of a squeeze in there, but day one rip out complete.

The lads have been carrying out work for our local pit tip, removing the existing suspended floor and installing a new concrete base in preparation for their exciting new dog-friendly café area. 🐾

It's great to be involved in another project that will create a welcoming space for the local community and their four-legged friends and we can also enjoy.

We look forward to seeing the transformation.

We're Back! 🔨🏡

After a much-needed break, we're back on site and ready for a busy few months ahead.
This week we've started work on a project for our local pit tip, and next week we'll be kicking off the start of an extension

Great morning at Mansfield Grafters today. 👏

A room full of local businesses, lots of opportunities to connect with people in the construction industry.

Before training with Corksol, I'll be honest — if someone had said sprayed cork to me, I'd have probably said whats that.

A lot of people see the finished photos, but not always everything happening behind the scenes.

At Abbott & Mason, whether it's hanging a single door, full house plastering, renovations, disability adaptations or larger projects, we don't just turn up and complete one part of the job.

Luke carries out site visits beforehand to understand what clients actually need, discuss ideas, answer questions and make sure projects are planned properly from the start. Building trust and understanding the client's needs is just as important as the work itself.
Behind the scenes, I help keep everything moving — organising schedules, coordinating trusted subcontractors, arranging suppliers and materials, handling communication and helping projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Over the years we've worked closely with local councils delivering adaptation works and have built strong relationships through reliability, communication and the standard of work we provide to both clients and councils.
We pride ourselves on keeping clients informed throughout, especially when working in occupied homes or supporting vulnerable clients.
We're always looking to improve and expand what we offer too, which is why we're excited to now be bringing sprayed cork solutions into our services alongside our building and renovation work.

Not very often I’m on site 😅 but managed to get out and grab a quick clip of the lads in progress on this full house renovation

Back to brick, full boarding and plastering underway and the team are flying through it while still keeping the quality high 🙌
